Located in the High Atlas Mountains, Ourika is a city of Morocco with a large forest that extends up to 1 km away from its center. Commonly referred to as the "Blue City", ours was named after its appearance as though it has been dusted with powder. Its traditional buildings of clay and wood create the look while the frescoes and mosaics add color to it. Local tourism center provides many worthwhile activities, including trips to royal tombs, trekking through trails and mountains, or hiking to the Gorges du Dadès.
